The report received attention partly because franchise mode is a sore point with some Madden players. However, players continue to highlight various areas where franchise mode is able to make improvements relative to its competitors, from the relative lack of customization to the multitude of bugs.
Although EA Sports wouldn’t provide any specifics, other improvements remain on the table for sometime next year. The updates could include the improvements to franchise relocation that were promised in the original plan in Madden 22. Expect more details in 2022.
