Dark and Darker, a multiplayer dungeon crawler from Dark And Darker Gold Ironmace, blends RPG mechanics with roguelike exploration and battle royale gameplay. Ironmace released the second hot fix for Dark and Darker’s Early Access period, fixing a number of reported bugs and issues.
Despite ongoing legal complications and its removal from Steam, Ironmace remains dedicated to improving the game with recent updates and aims for a comeback on the platform.
Dark and Darker, a multiplayer dungeon crawler from the Korean indie studio Ironmace, has released a new update. Having entered early access just a week ago, Dark and Darker uniquely blend first-person RPG mechanics with components of roguelike exploration and battle royale gameplay.
Earlier this year, Dark and Darker garnered attention due to a controversy involving its developer, Ironmace. Accused of stealing code from their former publisher Nexon, Ironmace faced a police raid in March. Despite denying the allegations, tensions remained as Nexon persisted in its claims.
The dispute arose from the development of Dark and Darker after Nexon’s cancellation of a similar project called P3, which some Ironmace staff had previously been involved in.
Legal complaints were filed in 2021, leading to a police investigation in late 2022. Ironmace maintained their innocence, but Dark And Darker Gold for sale reports indicated that materials were confiscated during the raid.
