Switching to PS4, NBA 2K23 was the most-downloaded game of the month for the US and Canada as FIFA 23 Coins took the top position in Europe. As for PSVR game titles Beat Saber was the most popular. top game in both North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR placed second and third respectively in both regions.
For games with no cost to play that cover PS5 and PS4 all together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada as well as Canada. Rumbleverse was the most played free-to-play title in Europe.

Sony has ambitious plans for the future generation of hardware for virtual reality and plans to have 2 million units of the PSVR 2 headset ready by March next year.
Mass production of the virtual reality headset reportedly began in September (via Bloomberg) and has been able to overcome shortages in the supply chain. With the PS5 remains highly sought-after due to its limited availability since it launched in November of 2020, Sony also plans to bring more consoles to shelves by the time 2023 arrives, according to Bloomberg’s sources.
PSVR 2 isn’t yet set to be released beyond 2023, however Sony is attempting to ensure that it has enough PS5 consoles for gamers to play games with the brand new headset. The hardware will only work with PS5 and will not be backwards compatible with PSVR games.
What is known about the equipment is that it is equipped with several impressive specifications. Like the PS5 with its DualSense controller Sony added haptic feedback, adjustable triggers, eye-tracking, inside-out tracking and 3D audio into the kit which isn’t yet available for the price at which it will retail.
“PSVR 2 looks poised be a major boost for it in the FUT 23 Coins buy game industry,” Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot’s PSVR 2 preview. “It remains to be seen whether PSVR 2 will attract a wide interest, but at the very least I’m more confident that it’ll be one step closer to achieving its full potential.”
